Well my daughter (Nichole) had her baby. My granddaughter was born January 16, 2010. She weighed 6lb. 11.4oz. and 20 inches long. Her name is Dannielle Elizabeth. She is absoulutely beautiful. I can truely say I am blessed with 2 grandchildren (Trystin and Dannielle).
Nichole was in labor for 36 hours. It was tough on all. Me, my husband (Dan), my other daughter (Jacquie) and the baby's father T.J. were all there the whole time.
I'll tell you...it was kind of hard to see your baby go through so much pain. I had to leave several times to cry and yes to have a ciggerette.
But let me tell you, she is a proving to be a very good mother at the age of 17. She is trying to do everything by herself and doesn't ask for any help. She makes bottles every day (and is always on top of it), she changes her diapers every two to three hours, she holds her (a little too much) all the time. She doesn't even complain about being up at night.
